Questions for our Line Marketing Services

Epoxy line marking is just as it says on the tin. It involves using a specifically designed epoxy to mark out lines on your floors.

When marking out areas in warehouses, parking garages, industrial spaces and more, clear, bold lines are important. Marking those lines out with tinted epoxy instead of paint ensures they’re just as durable as the rest of your floor, and will stay bright and visible for years to come.

Where paint will chip and fade with time, epoxy won’t, making it perfect for heavy use areas like walkways, warehouses, factories and more.

Epoxy can be applied anywhere you have concrete or an existing epoxy floor. We simply mark out the lines, apply the epoxy like paint, and then cure it for 24-72 hours. The result is a bright, impossible to ignore set of marking lines. Whether you’re marking out parking spaces, directional lines, caution lines or anything else, epoxy line marking flooring can deliver the results you’re looking for.

At Safecoat, we use high quality epoxy that will provide highly durable results and withstand wear and tear due to vehicle, machinery, and workforce traffic. Discuss your needs with our team today.

Epoxy line marking is widely used in commercial and industrial spaces across the world, including for concrete surfaces such as driveways, pathways, workshops and warehouses.

Here are some of the projects we’ve completed epoxy line marking for:

    • Warehouses: For marking out work zones, storage areas, and safe walking paths.
    • Factories: To indicate production zones, machinery hazards, and traffic flow.
    • Parking Lots: Marking parking bays, pedestrian crossings, and directional arrows.
    • Sports Courts: Creating court boundaries and specific game markings.
    • Hospitals and Schools: For safety zones and organisational purposes.
    • Retail and Commercial Spaces: To improve customer navigation and safety.

Additionally, with a wide range of colours available, you can mark out various spaces, directions, and more just by choosing a different colour.

Epoxy line marking is significantly more durable, boasting a much longer lifespan than traditional paint. Because epoxy is made of a type of plastic resin, it’s less prone to wear and tear, and can stand up to moisture and chemicals. Because of this it also maintains its colour for longer as well.

With proper care, epoxy can deliver exceptional results for 10-20 years without needing restoration. Just give it a regular clean with water and a mild cleaning agent and it’ll continue to do its job properly.

Curing time depends on the kind of epoxy used and the size of the job. Usually, epoxy line markings cure in 8-16 hours. At this point, it’s safe to walk on, but we recommend waiting at least a week before driving heavy vehicles on the lines.

Maintenance is as easy as sweeping and mopping the epoxy, just as you would any hard flooring. It’s important to do it regularly, however, as excess dust and dirt buildup can cause unnecessary wear and tear, make the lines more slippery, and reduce the lifespan of the epoxy.

Simply use a dust mop regularly to remove loose debris that could mark the surface. Then, wet mop with no harsh detergents or cleaning agents to clean the surface of the epoxy lines. This will ensure proper cleaning without damage.

We recommend annual inspections for cracks and degradation, but in reality, full maintenance will only need to be carried out every 10-20 years. When the time comes, we’ll grind back and apply another topcoat of epoxy, making them look and feel as good as new.
